Some exciting news to bring you this week – our new Pangolin Pilsner has arrived and we couldn’t be more happier!
If you have followed us for a while or visited the Alpine Coffee Shop or Hangin’ Pizzeria in the last few years, you will know that we have collaborated with From the Notebook LTD to launch a range of conservation beers. Five different beers that would raise money to help the great apes.
We have now added Pangolins to the collection.
Ten pence from the sale of each bottle sold will go to help two organisations that Jacha has visited and seen first hand the fantastic work they do to help these amazing creatures, those are: Rare & Endangered Species Trust (R.E.S.T) and the Sangha Pangolin Project.
Pangolins are the most trafficked mammal in the world, they are under threat from hunting for trade in Asia where their meat is prized as a delicacy and their scales are used in traditional Asian medicine.
So next time you are in Betws-y-Coed, why not try the pangolin pilsner and help these fascinating creatures.
If you can’t get to BYC but would like to try the pilsner you can now order online with From the Notebook’s distributor and get some delivered to your door: Northumbrian Gifts.
