In December 2014, Jacha and his assistant Kate visited the Llanberis Brownies to talk to the children about orangutans and the fight they face for survival.
Jacha presented a short but informative slideshow to the children, which they enjoyed. There was a lively discussion and question and answer session after the talk. At the end of the talk Jacha asked the children to create pictures of the orangutans and send them to him, which they did. Jacha displayed the pictures in the Alpine Coffee Shop for everyone to see.
Although the school is only small and in a rural location, the staff there have done a fantastic job developing it into an eco school, it is a wonderful place to visit.
If you are a teacher and would like Jacha to visit your school or you know a school that would like a visit please do get in touch with Kate at the Platform Galeri for more information.
