Following the success of our past launches of our range of beers from ‘From the Notebook’, Jacha has been working with the Anglesey based Llanfairpwll Distillery to create a range of high quality spirits with a conscience. The Chimpanzee vodka, Orangutan gin and Gorilla rum all have labels and boxes that draw awareness to the conservation of their respective apes alongside QR codes that link to the charities that the sales of these spirits will benefit.
A portion of the proceeds from the sales of bottles or individual measures are split between Ape Action Africa and Orangutan Appeal UK, two charities that the Betws Railway Platform continuously support. Let’s drink to that!
Each one of these ape spirit bottles features one of Jacha’s paintings, and are available to buy from the Hangin’ Pizzeria either by the bottle, or as part of one of their carefully crafted cocktails or Highballs.
The spirits are all 37.5% vol 70cl, with your pick of a special dry gin, a smooth Caribbean rum or a triple distilled grain vodka – whichever one takes your fancy!
