A new collection of mixed media collage prints.

I have been creating a selection of new prints with a conservation message.

Over the last few weeks I have been working on a new collection of prints using mixed media in a collage technique. The prints feature textiles I have collected on my travels over the years as well as showing a variety of different species.

The species I have used are vulnerable or endangered and in need of our help to protect them. An example of this is in “The Red List” print which includes an orangutan, chimpanzee and gorilla. These species connect to my ambassadorship roles for Ape Action Africa and Orangutan Appeal UK.

“The Red List” print highlights species which are endangered, such as the orangutan.

Each print is open to interpretation but my aim has been to represent conservation and my love of the natural world. I love working with a variety of materials to tell a story.

The initial six prints in the collection will be available to buy as prints to begin with. Moving forward I will be adding more to the collection and expanding the designs into an exciting new project – more to come on that later!

“Warrior”
“Blue Sky”
